Aquarbe, in collaboration with the City of Santoña, imparts the Aqualogia educational program in the schools of the municipality

This program, aimed at school children in grades of primary education, begins today, April 12, with three sessions in two schools: From 9:00 to 10:00 and 10:00 to 11:00 hours in the college Ricardo Macía Picavea and 11:30 to 12:30 hours in the school Sagrado Corazón de Jesús

Aquarbe, the company responsible for the management of water supply and sewerage in Santoña, in collaboration with the Town Hall, will imparts the program in the three Aqualogia educational schools of this municipality. This program, aimed at school children in grades of primary education, begins today, April 12, with three sessions in two schools: From 9:00 to 10:00 and 10:00 to 11:00 hours in the college Ricardo Macía Picavea and 11:30 to 12:30 hours in the school Sagrado Corazón de Jesús. The program will end on April 17, with two sessions in the school Juan de la Cosa, from 12:00 to 13:00 and 13:00 to 14:00 hours.

Aqualogia is an educational program directed specifically to primary schoolchildren with the Aquarbe aims to contribute to raising awareness among children about the importance of water and environment, educate them in the knowledge of the natural and urban cycles of water, and encourage responsible consumption habits of this resource as vital. Through simple experiments and with the use of various digital resources, school children of Santoña will learn in a playful way the different uses of water, as it arrives this to our houses, what treatments we must do in order to be able to drink it or return it to the natural environment and, also, the importance of not disposing wet wipes down the toilet, as they cause serious problems in the sewerage network.

The Mayor of Santoña, Sergio Abascal, accompanied by the manager of Aquarbe, Blanca Estrada, and the Head of Service of Aquarbe in Santoña, Iñigo Arechaga, will attend the first meeting of the educational program that will take place today, 12 April, 9:00 to 10:00 hours in the college Ricardo Macía Picavea.
