Primary schools in Santoña and Val de San Vicente take part in the Aqualogía education programme

The aim of Aquarbe's education programme is to raise children's awareness of the importance of looking after water and the environment.

Aquarbe, the company responsible for the water supply and sewer system in Santoña, and the water supply in Val de San Vicente, in collaboration with the two Town Councils, has taught Aqualogía in the schools of both municipalities.

This education programme, which is designed specifically for primary schoolchildren, began last Monday in the Macías Picavea primary school, situated in Santoña, and ended yesterday in the Fuente Salín primary school, located in Val de San Vicente.

Through the Aqualogía characters and using simple experiments, over 200 schoolchildren learned about the urban water cycle, the different uses of this essential resource in our homes, and what treatments are required so that we can drink it or return it to the natural environment.
